BEGINNERS GUIDE TO STAG & HEN NEWQUAY
Planning a Stag or Hen do in Newquay, researching ideas and collecting money from everyone isn’t and enviable task. Finding out accurate information on whats good and whats not can be tricky when there’s so much information out there. Much of it provided by large companies not the local providers, making finding our whats fact and whats fake news nigh on impossible.
GROUP ACCOMMODATION & HOTELS
Stag & Hen accommodation can get booked up early so if there’s one thing you do, its get the accommodation booked!Depending on your budget most surf lodges charge any where from £15 – £35 per person for dorm style bunks.
BEACHES
Newquay is surrounded by beaches. With no fewer than 10 beaches within 4-5 miles either side of the town its no wonder its a surfers paradise. The main beaches to be aware of are Towan beach and Fistral beach. Town beach is in the heart of Newquay and is part of the Newquay Bay which encompasses further beaches such as Great Western, Tolcarne and Lusty Glaze Fistral beach is no doubt the main beach you have heard of and is just a few minutes stroll from the centre of Newquay. Fistral beach typically being the more popular beach with a few more facilities and draw due to the bigger beach & waves.

GETTING TO NEWQUAY
Getting to Newquay can be a mission. If your’e travelling from any further than Bristol, it’s further than you imagine. With summer time traffic, make sure you allow more time than you think. Thankfully once you’ve arrived its easy enough to navigate around the town and by mid morning you’ll have figured our what’s what and where’s where. Newquay is not your typical small town. Although it certainly has its tacky seaside parts the town it’s self, surrounded by turquoise ocean and dramatic cliffs and bays is a gem of place to get stuck in with the activities and night life with friends.
