What should you expect from your stag do surf lesson?
The most important thing for us is that everyone has a fun time celebrating (safely, of course)! Your stag do surf lesson starts off at our base in central Newquay. We’ll welcome you, take you through the basics, get you into a wetsuit and grab a board. We’ll then head down to the beach for a quick safety briefing and get you all in the water for the maximum time possible. First off, we’ll give you a couple of exercises to do in the waves so you get used to lying on a board. We’ll show you how to properly paddle and how to hold a surfboard. Once you’ve got the hang of this, we’ll head back to the beach for a breather and some coaching on how to stand up and ride waves to the shore. Hopefully, a stag do is something you’ll only need to celebrate once, which is why we want it to be memorable, fun and unique. We’ll tailor your lesson to your group. So, it doesn’t matter if you’re a pro or have never even held a surfboard (or a mix of both!), our experienced instructors will get you all on a board and having fun. At Cornish Wave, we pride ourselves on offering fun, safe and educational lessons on some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. A surf lesson in Newquay is the perfect way (and place!) to enjoy a stag do!
