Your Hen Party Surf lesson in Newquay begins with a warm welcome from your surf coach. After a quick overview of the lesson, you’ll be given your warm winter wetsuit, grab your surfboards and head down to the beach. Our surf coaches are patient and skilled professionals at teaching surfing. We break the lesson down into stages and cover each one at a pace suited to your group. The first part of the lesson we cover how to handle your surfboard, managing yourself & your board in the waves to catching waves on your stomach. Once everyone is ready, its back to the sand for some further instruction on how to stand up and rides the Cornish waves back to the shore. Our surf coaches are passionate, experienced and qualified, they are there to help, guide and support you and your group throughout your time with us.
Please get in touch using our contact form, send us an email using hello@cornishwave.com or give us a call on 01637 872031. You will need to pay in advance for your activity.
We always keep an eye on the local surf conditions. As long as we deem the sea to be safe to deliver a surf lesson we’ll head down to the beach come rain or shine.
We have every type and size of wetsuit imaginable – We cater as best we can for all body shapes & sizes.
In our Hen surfing lessons, you won’t need to go any further than your individual waist depth. We’ll teach you a method for controlling your surfboard so you can easily ride white water waves back to shore.
You’ll have your feet on the sand the whole time and our beach lifeguard surf coaches are there to support and inspire you throughout the whole lesson.
Yes, of course, members of the Hen party are more than welcome to tag along for the laughs. Hen’s are welcome to watch for the beach, borrow a wetsuit and paddle in the shallows, or take some images of the girls surfing. It’s up to you.
Something to wear under a wetsuit (bikini/swimsuit) shoes for the beach and a towel. If it’s sunny we recommend suncream and a bottle of water.
