Why would anybody leave the serenity of Cornwall’s spectacular beaches in favour of swimming in choppy seas, exploring dark caves and leaping from dizzying heights into Atlantic waters? Our latest Coasteering blog series takes a look at the top reasons to come and have your own coasteering adventure in Newquay.
Coasteering is Great Exercise!
There’s no denying it, Coasteering is physically demanding. In order to explore the magnificently rocky coastline, your journey will require walking, swimming, scrambling, jumping, climbing, possibly some crawling, more swimming and a huge dose of smiling.
No two routes are the same and with the changing tides, even the same stretch of coastline on a different day becomes a new challenge that will keep you on your toes. No treadmills, just good fun, exercising the way it should be, in nature’s gym. You’ll have no shame in devouring a large Pasty after your coasteering adventure.
Coasteering is not the only full-body workout in Newquay – a Surfing Lesson in Newquay can be just as much fun, and burn just as many calories!
